This year has been remarkable for WezaCare Solutions, full of achievements and growth as we worked to support vulnerable children and families. Alongside reaching our own key milestones, we have witnessed inspiring progress from our partners, particularly Charitable Children’s Institutions (CCIs) that are increasingly participating in the capacity-building trainings we offer.

These trainings are crucial as these institutions transition toward family-based care models that prioritize a child’s right to grow up in a safe, nurturing family environment.The enthusiasm from our partners during the onboarding process has been humbling. It’s rewarding to see so many organizations committed to improving the care and protection provided to vulnerable children by embracing alternative childcare methods. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient community focused on placing children’s best interests first.

As we close out the year, we extend a special thank you to key Child Welfare sector players and our government partners, including the National Council of Children’s Services (NCCS), for their support. Their dedication to alternative and family-based care through initiatives like the National Care Reform Strategy and amendments to the Children’s Act has been instrumental in driving positive change in the sector.
