The Dowell family

For nearly 15 years, Kenya has been home to Jonathan, Andrea, Madison, and Sophia. Their life here is rooted in relationships, community, and a passion for seeing children grow up in safe, loving families.

Jonathan and Andrea spent a decade alongside the Kenyan team at Agape Children’s Ministry, supporting organizational development, program design, curriculum, and systems that helped children living on the streets find a pathway back to family.

As other organizations began asking how to reunite children with their families, they helped establish Agape Model Solutions in 2019. That work grew into WezaCare Solutions, an independent Kenyan organization established in 2022.

Today, they continue serving alongside the WezaCare team. Financial partners help them remain in Kenya and meet everyday family expenses, including housing, food, and school fees. Kenya is where they have built their lives, raised their daughters, and found a calling they remain deeply committed to.
